I spent the morning with my kids walking through the Munsinger Gardens in St. Cloud, Minnesota. These gardens are so gorgeous, full of native and non-native flowers and plants. We had the best time watching all the beautiful butterflies flying around and landing on the flowers. My seven year old son said, "This is the best day ever!" It's a simple and sweet memory that I will never forget.
 
I photographed this really beautiful stone staircase surrounded by these gorgeous scarlet sage flowers and tall trees in the background because it just made me feel so at peace. We spent several minutes walking up and down the stairs admiring how pretty it all looked.
 
I created this watercolor painting and then scanned it into my computer where I added the line art with an Apple Pencil. I love how the final piece turned out!
