As a Minnesota resident, I absolutely love capturing the beauty of this state. One of my family's favorite places to visit is Duluth, and more specifically, Lake Superior! On one of our recent trips up north, I took a photo of these beautiful Black-Eyed Susans along Park Point Beach - my children's favorite place to go to on our visits! As soon as I saw them, I knew I'd be making a drawing of them. I altered the drawing a bit to include a better view of the water, and I love how the entire composition turned out!
