Alessi's Wildflowers is a print of a soft pastel drawing that I created with my 3 year old daughter, Alessi. This drawing began by letting my daughter choose from a set of pink and orange pastels to create a beautiful background. I then asked her to choose any color of my Faber Castell Pitt Pastel Pencils to start creating circles (flowers) on the drawing. From there, a field of wildflowers developed!
I have always referred to my daughter as my wild child, and when she was a baby, I created a print with the quote "In a field of roses, she is a wildflower - Anonymous." This drawing is a perfect representation of my little girl - soft and sweet, yet wild (and all over the place!).
The profits from every print of Alessi's Wildflowers sold is going directly to my daughter.
